How do I track my Housenama order?

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped. This mail will containing your shipment tracking number and tracking URL. In most cases, the tracking number will be active within 24 hours. Alternatively, you can also enter your order ID on our order tracking page.

How do I change delivery details of my order?

You can send a mail to help@housenama.com with the new delivery details. Please ensure you include your order number in the subject line.

How do I cancel my order?

Please place your order after you are completely satisfied with the preview. Once the order is placed it cannot be canceled as these are personalized products and can not be reused.

How do I place a return request?

We have a 7-day "replace or refund" policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a replacement or refund.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within 7 days if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

You can contact us at help@housenama.com with pictures of the product. Also, let us know if you'd like a replacement or refund. Once approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

What is the delivery timeline for my order?

In a majority of cases, orders get delivered in 9-10 business days after you have placed the order. However, we request you to use the delivery period mentioned on the individual product pages for reference.

Do you accept COD orders?

No. Since these are custom made orders, we accept only prepaid orders.

How do I get a GST invoice for my purchase?

If you'd like a GST invoice for your purchase, you can make the request by specifying it in the field titled "Add a note to your order" on the Cart page during the Checkout process. Mention your Company Name, GSTIN and address along with the request.

Can I request changes to an existing nameplate design? How do I request for the same?

If the customization simply requires a change in the font/graphic, that can be incorporated. If the customization requires a change in product size/shape/form/material, then it might not be possible for us to undertake the same. You can make the request by specifying it in the field titled "Add a note to your order" on the Cart page during the Checkout process.

How do we install the nameplate after it is delivered?

Each nameplate will be delivered along with the accessories required to install the same. It is advised that you call a carpenter to complete the installation.

Can Housename create a custom nameplate for me, if I share the design and size?

Drop an email to help@housenama.com with the subject line CUSTOM NAMEPLATE. Please share as many details as you can. We typically respond in 24-48 hours of your request. If the design is possible, we will share a quotation with you. Once the quotation is approved by you, a payment link will be shared.

Will I receive a preview of the nameplate before the order is confirmed?

On the product details page, while adding your custom options, you will be able to see your real-time preview before you place your order.

What process do you use for the lettering on the name plate?

We currently employ a proprietary print process for the lettering on our name plates. The cured inks used in the process have an outdoor durability of at least 5 years without fading.

In our experience, our current print process offers a superior experience (in terms of aesthetics, durability, and maintenance) over other techniques such as chemical etching and colour-filling, laser engraving, and vinyl lettering.

Can the nameplate lettering be in a regional language?

Yes, the nameplate can be customised in regional Indian languages including Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu. To place an order, simply copy-paste the regional language text in the corresponding text field from Google Input Tools. Also, specify it in the field titled "Add a note to your order" on the Cart page during the Checkout process.

Can I use a font for the name other than the one(s) shown on the product page?

Yes, that can be done. You can try previewing your name using the font options at DaFont or Font Squirrel or Google Fonts. Once you have shortlisted the desired font, please proceed to place your order on Housenama and share the link to your desired font in the field titled "Add a note to your order" on the Cart page during the Checkout process.

Since your wooden nameplates have PU waterproofing, can they be used outdoors?

Unlike materials such as stainless steel and acrylic, wood is not inherently weatherproof and water-resistant. While the PU coating does add sufficient protection, the coating will get washed off in 1-2 seasons of rain. Hence, despite the hydrophilic PU protection, we do not recommend exposing it to outdoor weather conditions.

Can I get the lettering in a colour other than the displayed options?

Yes, please specify your desired colour in the field titled "Add a note to your order" on the Cart page during the Checkout process.

How can I redeem a coupon code?

While placing your order, you will be prompted to apply your Discount Code at the checkout stage. Please ensure that you enter the discount or coupon code prior to the Payment step.
