Refund policy

The 7-day Replace or Refund Policy

We have a 7-day "replace or refund" policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a replacement or refund. A replacement and refund is only offered in the following scenarios:

  1. The item received is damaged on reaching your location.
  2. The item has a prior defect.
  3. The wrong item has been shipped to you.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within 7 days if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

You can contact us at help@housenama.com with pictures of the product. Also, let us know if you'd like a replacement or refund. Once approved, the amount will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 3-7 working days.

Spelling Mistakes in Nameplates

Please note that we do not offer replacements or refunds in cases where you have made a spelling mistake in the content of the nameplate. In cases where a replacement is requested with minor changes in the text, you can request the team to send a replacement at a discounted rate.

Approvals and Non-Response Policy

At Housenama, we take great care to ensure that your nameplate is made exactly as per your preferences.

  • Preview Approvals & Post-Dispatch Concerns: In some cases, we share a digital preview manually via email and/or WhatsApp for your approval before production. If we do not receive your approval or feedback within a reasonable time despite follow-ups, we will proceed with production based on the shared preview. Once a nameplate has been produced and dispatched based on the approved (or unresponded) preview, refunds or redesigns will not be possible, as each nameplate is custom-made to order.
  • Non-Response After Custom Requests: In some cases, customers request multiple design options or a custom layout. If, after we share these options, there is no response for an extended period, the order will remain on hold. No refunds will be issued for such inactive orders. However, at our discretion, we may offer store credit of equivalent value for future purchases.

Wallpaper Return & Sample Policy

At Housenama, all our wallpapers are printed on demand, exclusively for your order. Because each roll is custom-printed to your specifications (design, color, and size), we do not accept returns or exchanges once an order is placed.

If you would like to see and feel the material or color before placing a full order, we strongly recommend ordering a 1-meter sample. Samples are available at a discounted price so you can make an informed decision before purchasing your wallpaper.

Please Note:

  • Colour tones may vary slightly between screens and final prints.
  • We print only after your order is confirmed, ensuring your wallpaper is fresh and made just for you.

The 1-hour Cancellation Window

We have a 1-hour cancellation window, which means that any requests for cancellation must be made within 1 hour of placing the order.

Once the 1-hour mark lapses, we process your order and add it to the design and production queue. Hence, any request for cancellation made after it is processed can not be entertained.

Orders Pending Design Approval

  • In certain cases, your order may still be awaiting approval of the design preview/mockup after the 1-hour cancellation window has passed. Since resources have already been allocated to your custom order, we will not be able to offer a monetary refund at this stage.
  • However, we will be happy to issue a store credit equivalent to the order value, which can be used for any future purchase on Housenama.
