What inspired our Florid Beginning collection of Wooden Nameplates?

A few weeks ago, I was invited to a friend's house - to celebrate his son's birthday. The first thing I noticed was the pretty floral name-plate that adorned the entrance. And I thought it'd be a good idea to launch a similar offering on Housenama.

And, so, the team at Housenama collaborated with artist and illustrator Itisha Upadhyay (popularly known by the moniker 'Yellow Mellow Cat') to launch a collection of floral name-plates.

Titled Florid Beginnings, the collection draws inspiration from young couples who are starting a new life together.
